Discover Downing is a new website from Downing College, one of the Colleges of the University of Cambridge. It’s an online space for our all our work with schools, and aims to be engaging, interactive and informative for students and school staff who want to learn more about higher education and studying at Cambridge and Downing College.

When speaking with students on school visits and open days, we often recommend that students go away afterwards and start to explore university options and especially their subject interests beyond the classroom, and now we have a great starting point to help them do just that. Given the distance between our link areas and Cambridge, we hope that Discover Downing will bring us closer to the students and teachers we work with

  • See what it’s like to be a student at university. Check out Outreach Blog to find out about the work our Schools Liaison Officer is doing, or go to our Student Life page to hear from our own undergraduates and read about their experiences of studying at Downing.
