Interested in a visit to your school?
Given the distance and cost associated with travel from our South West link areas to Cambridge, much of our work with schools takes place in-region, and we’re delighted to visit you and your students when possible. Lauren Payne, our School and College Liaison Officer, organises an annual schools tour which takes place from February to April and delivers a range of talks and workshops to students and staff across Cornwall, Devon and Dorset.
Common sessions include but are not limited to:
- Applying to Cambridge (and Oxford) for groups of high-achieving Year 12s
- Personal statement or interview workshops for Year 12s and 13s
- Post-16 options for selective universities for Year 11s
- University life and study for Year 9s and 10s.
We are very flexible in what we can provide and encourage school staff to discuss the aims of each visit with us. If you would like to request a visit, please complete the school visit request form below. We are also happy to attend school-organised events such as HE fairs, careers events and options evenings. Visits are easiest for us to arrange from January through to early May, from mid-June to end of the school year, and during September.
Schools and colleges with high-achieving Year 12 students interested in Oxford or Cambridge are encouraged to book places on one of our Oxford and Cambridge Information Days before requesting an individual visit. If attendance on an Information Day is not possible, we will be happy to provide an individual visit instead.
